HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR OF THE SNAKE 2025

In early 2015, my lovely Chinese-American wife and I moved from Rhode Island to Hong Kong for her work with a US corporation. Because I was also granted a work permit, I eventually found an unique role as a social compliance, factory report editor which required someone whose first language was American English; a rather rare commodity in Hong Kong.

I mention this so you understand what is independently reported here by myself and others is not just rumors. I made many dear friends while living and working in Hong Kong, who I keep in touch with. That’s how I have learned things that are not reported in the media, which I will brifely share with you because it is important for everyone to be fully informed about events unfolding in Asia and on Earth.

In mid-2020, as C-19 lockdowns were taking place, many factories in China shut down for weeks or months. Some of the workers were quarantined at the factories, which I found shocking and cruel.

Around that time, my supervisor was layed off. His boss (who ran the auditing firm for a wealthy American) told me business had slowed down dramatically and he offered to find other documents for me to edit, such as a potential industry newsletter. That didn’t happen and I was eventually layed off due to a continued lack of business.

Now, in 2025, the manufacturing business in China has slowed to a crawl again. I know this because of my friends in Asia and because I read world news events every single day.

First, let me share some insights regarding China:

On average, 10 million Chinese university students graduate each year with a degree. However, the vast majority of them are unable to find work in China (confirmed below). Therefore, those who come from wealthy families live at home and do not work. Those who come from poor families are homeless and live wherever they can find shelter. This was told directly to a close friend of mine while chatting with Chinese university students. It is not a theory or speculation.
A vast number of investors have pulled out of China and are no longer willing to use the country as the world’s leading manufacturing center (confirmed below). In part, this is due to wages being increased for the workers, which I was glad to see happen. However, when they began being layed off, I was very sad for them and their families. The other part of this problem is that the Chinese government increased their direct involvement in Foregin Business in China. This control of of foreign corportations affairs, including charging more taxes, caused many investors to leave China and do business elsewhere.
The actual population of China has declined dramatically. Even though the government lifted their “One Child” policy, citizens cannot afford to have children. I was told the actual number of Chinese in China now is 800 MILLION or less. This is a major shift in demographics with serious implications.
A new respratory illness has apparently emerged in China that is wreaking havoc. I don’t mean to be alarmist, and this could be a replay of the theatrics conducted in 2020 to panic the world into compliance, but something is very wrong in the social fabric of China.
Organ harvesting is illegal, immoral and evil. It is a crime against humanity that has yet to be properly addressed. This practice is rampant in China and must stop. And all those involved must be held accountable.
The number of people sick and dying from industrial pollution and Ionized Radiation from cell towers, etc., in China has increased dramatically and is staggering. This is most likely another reason the population has decreased in the past couple decades.
